THE FOURTH TRIMESTER - RECOVERY AND CARE PLANNER

A browser app for the weeks after birth, built for the version of you who cannot remember what day it is. One file. It opens in the browser you already have, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. No account, no server, no subscription, nothing to install.

The photos show you the planner: the screens, the six languages, the twenty colours, what a day in it looks like. Everything below is what a photo cannot show you.

LOOK AROUND BEFORE YOU TYPE ANYTHING

One tap loads three weeks of realistic example data - a mother, a partner, a neighbour on standby, logged feeds, a six-week check, journal entries, milestones - so you can walk through every screen with something in it. Erase it whenever you like and start clean. You are never staring at an empty planner wondering what it is for.

THE DAY YOU HAVE NOTHING LEFT

There is a switch on Today that says "Today is a low day". Tap it and the page shrinks to almost nothing: the bare minimum list, and that is all. Three things. Not four. It is the list for the worst day, and finishing it counts as a complete day.

There are no streaks here. No completion percentage, no chain to break, no red mark for a day you missed. This audience does not need another thing to fail at.

THE PANEL THAT ONLY SPEAKS WHEN IT SHOULD

Most of the time Insights says nothing is worth flagging. It speaks up only when something has been true for long enough to matter - mood sitting low for a stretch, pain that has not eased across a week, sleep averaging so few hours that it is a body running on empty. Then it says so plainly and points you at the when-to-call sheet.

It will never tell you that you are doing well or badly. It only ever raises things worth a phone call.

WHAT THE WHEN-TO-CALL SHEET ACTUALLY SAYS

This is the part people photograph and put on the fridge. It is written before you need it, so nobody has to decide what counts while it is happening:

- Bleeding that soaks more than one pad an hour, or a clot bigger than an egg.
- A temperature of 100.4°F / 38°C or higher.
- A bad headache that painkillers do not touch, or changes to your vision.
- Chest pain, a racing heart, or trouble breathing.
- Pain, swelling, redness or warmth in one calf or leg.
- An incision or tear that is opening, hot, red, or leaking pus.
- Not passing urine, or burning pain when you do.
- Severe or worsening belly pain.
- Feeling unwell in a way you cannot explain, and something feels wrong.

And, separately and at the top: Thoughts of harming yourself or your baby, or feeling you cannot keep either of you safe.

Your own midwife, doctor and emergency numbers sit on that sheet as one-tap calls, because nobody should be searching a contacts list at four in the morning. The sheet prints.

FIFTEEN SYMPTOMS, NAMED

Recovery tracking that is actually about you: Perineal soreness, Incision soreness, Numbness near scar, Stitch discomfort, Stinging when urinating, Cramping, Sore breasts, Night sweats, Swelling, Back pain, Headache, Constipation, Pain standing up, Incision itching, Hair shedding.

Not a generic mood tracker with the word postpartum on it.

THE JOBS NOBODY COUNTS

The support screen starts with the invisible ones already listed - Night feeds, Nappy stock check, Laundry, Meals and cooking, Dishes, Paediatrician appointments, Thank-you messages, Grocery order, Taking the bins out, Booking the six-week check - and shows the split back to you as a percentage. Written down so it can be pointed at.

THE DOOR SHEET, ALREADY WRITTEN

Seven visitor rules you would find hard to say out loud, ready to print and stick up:

- Please text before you come — do not drop in.
- If you have any cold or cough symptoms, come another week.
- Wash your hands before holding the baby.
- Please do not kiss the baby.
- Short visits, 30 minutes or so.
- Bring food, take a bin bag with you on the way out.
- Do not comment on how the house looks, or how anyone's body looks.

WHEN YOU CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING TO WRITE

Fifteen journal prompts, for the parts that are not trackable:

- "What is something nobody warned you about?"
- "What do you miss about before? You are allowed to say it."
- "What is one thing your body did well today?"
- "What help would you ask for if asking were free?"
- "What do you want to remember about this week in ten years?"

SMALL THINGS THAT MATTER AT FOUR IN THE MORNING

- Dark mode is warm, never blue-black, because the most-used hour of this app is the middle of the night.
- Every button is thumb-reachable, with hit areas bigger than they look.
- Any page prints, including the visitor sheet and the when-to-call sheet.
- It is undated. Start on any day, reuse any page.
- Ticking a box does not move the page under your finger.
- If your browser blocks saving files, the backup copies to the clipboard instead - and you can restore from pasted text, not just a file.
- If storage is unavailable it tells you in a banner and keeps working, rather than throwing up an error and stopping.

WHAT YOU DOWNLOAD

One zip containing the planner - all six languages and all twenty colours already inside it. Instant download. Free updates, and still no account.

This is general postpartum information, not medical advice. It is not a monitoring device and it cannot tell whether you are unwell. Anything that worries you belongs with your midwife or doctor.

FAQ

What am I actually buying?
The browser app. One file that opens in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox on a phone, tablet or computer. The six languages and the twenty colours are part of it, not add-ons.

Do I need to install anything?
No. It is a single file. Open it and it runs. There is no app store, no account and no update you have to accept.

Does it work offline?
Yes, completely, and it keeps working offline forever. There is no service behind it that can be switched off.

Where is my data stored?
In this browser, on this device, only. It is never uploaded. Clearing your browser data would clear it, which is what the backup button is for.

What if I change phone or laptop?
Export a backup and import it on the new device. The planner reminds you if a month passes without one.

Which languages are included?
English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano and Nederlands - all six are in the one file, switchable at any time.

Is it dated?
No. It is undated, so you can start on any day and print or reuse any page as often as you like.

Can two people use it?
The planner lives on one device, but the parts meant for other people - the postpartum plan, the visitor sheet, the when-to-call sheet, the job split - all print, and the Notion version is built for sharing with a partner.

Is this medical advice?
No. It is general postpartum information and a place to write things down. Anything that worries you belongs with your midwife or doctor.
